On August 11, demonstrations favouring the military junta took place in Niger's capital Niamey.
This is reported by Reuters.
The participants wore Wagner PMC symbols and Russian flags. They gathered in front of a French army base.
The Nigerians were protesting against France and the Economic Community of West African States, which continues to prepare a plan for military intervention in Niger to restore constitutional order.
As a reminder, African media reported that Wagner PMCs are training the Nigerian military that carried out the coup in the country.
