Court in Moscow 'arrests' Ukrainian Crimean Tatar singer Jamala in absentia

A court in Moscow has "arrested" Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar singer Jamala, real name Susana Jamaladinova, in absentia in the case of "fakes" about the Russian army.

The Russian propaganda media outlet TASS reports.

Jamala was remanded in custody in absentia. The criminal case was sent to the Basmanny District Court of Moscow.

Jamala has also been put on the international wanted list.

According to the Russian investigation, on April 4, 2022, Jamala published a post on her social media page, accessible to an unlimited number of people, which allegedly contained deliberately false information about the actions of the Russian army during the so-called 'special military operation'.
