Construction of the Bayraktar UAV production plant begins in Ukraine

Construction of a Bayaraktar drone manufacturing plant has begun in Ukraine.
Minister of Strategic Industries Oleksandr Kamyshin announced this during a national telethon.
"The plant has started to be built in practice, not just in a memorandum. This is the same large Bayraktar plant that was agreed upon several years ago," Kamyshin said.
The Minister noted that there are also other projects that will help Ukrainian manufacturers scale up drone production in Ukraine.
In October 2022, Turkish defence company Baykar announced that it plans to complete the construction of its factory in Ukraine in two years.
