Concerts of the Russian KVN team 'Kamyzyaki' cancelled in Qazaqstan

In Qazaqstan, the organisers cancelled the concerts of the Russian KVN team 'Kamyzyaki', whose members performed in the Russian-occupied territory of the Donetsk region of Ukraine.

This was reported by RFE/RL’s Kazakh Service.

On September 8, team members Denis Dorokhov and Qazaq Azamat Musagaliyev gave a concert at the Saur-Mohyla memorial in the occupied part of the Donetsk region. They also publicly supported the Russian military.

Following this, a petition was launched in Qazaqstan to cancel the band's concerts. As a result of the publicity on social media, the organisers cancelled the tour.

This is not the first time the comedians have performed in the occupied territories of Ukraine. For this, they were included in the Myrotvorets database before Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

It will be recalled that in June this year, a concert by Gregory Leps was cancelled in Qazaqstan. He openly supports Russia in the war against Ukraine and promised a reward for the destruction of Ukrainian tanks.
