China and Russia conduct joint naval exercises
Russian Ministry of Defense notes that on December 22, warships of the two countries in the East China Sea began working out the tasks of the "Naval Interaction-2022" exercise.
As part of the exercises, China and Russia plan to conduct joint firing at air and sea targets and practice anti-submarine warfare using weapons.
The exercises take place from December 21 to 27.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation claims that the exercises are held to "strengthen naval cooperation" between the two countries, as well as "maintain peace and stability in the Asia-Pacific region."
