Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announces new sanctions against Russia

Canada is introducing new sanctions against Russia.

The Prime Minister of Canada made the announcement during a speech at the third summit of the Crimean Platform, reports Yevropeiska Pravda.

Restrictions are being imposed on four individuals and 29 legal entities from Russia, including those involved in the Russian nuclear energy sector.

Trudeau stressed that the sanctions will remain in place until Russia withdraws its troops from Ukraine, including Qirim.

The Canadian government has not yet published a document with new sanctions.

It will be recalled that on August 9, Canada imposed new sanctions against Belarus.
