Canada to provide four Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine

The Government of Canada has decided to join the "tank coalition" and provide four Leopard 2 battle tanks to Ukraine — Canadian Defence Minister Anita Anand.

The Canadian military will participate in crew training, and the country also plans to provide spare parts and ammunition.

"This donation, combined with contributions from allies and partners, will go a long way toward helping Ukraine's Armed Forces as they heroically fight for their country's freedom and sovereignty," Anand said.
