Battles for Soledar in the Donetsk region are still ongoing

This was announced in the evening summary of the General Staff of January 13.

On the morning of January 13, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Hanna Maliar reported that the fighting for the city continued all night.

"The enemy threw almost all the main forces in the Donetsk direction and maintains a high intensity of the offensive," Maliar wrote.

According to her, Ukrainian servicemen are "bravely trying to hold the defense."
