Austria expels four Russian diplomats
The Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs of the Republic of Austria is expelling four Russian diplomats — the statement of the Austrian Foreign Ministry.
"The four Russian diplomats must leave the territory of the Republic of Austria no later than a week later, that is, by the end of the day on February 8, 2023," the statement reads.
Two of the Russian diplomats committed actions incompatible with their diplomatic status, and therefore, in accordance with Article 9 of the Vienna Convention, were declared persona non grata.
Two more diplomats of the Permanent Mission of Russia to the United Nations committed acts incompatible with the Headquarters Agreement.
