Australia imposed sanctions against Russia and Iran over the supply of kamikaze drones and human rights violations — the press service of the Australian Minister for Foreign Affairs Penny Wong

Sanctions were imposed against 13 individuals and two legal entities. Among them are three Iranian individuals and one company involved in supplying Iranian drones to Russia to wage war against Ukraine.

The Iranian Moral Police, the Basij Resistance Force and six Iranians who participated in the suppression of protests after the death of Mahsa Amini were also sanctioned.
