August 19 was announced as the Day of Mourning in Kharkiv
"I think it would be right today to remember all those whose lives were taken by the war. All those who died within the walls of their homes, on the streets of their hometown, on the battlefield," said the Mayor of the city, Ihor Terekhov.
On the night of August 18, 17 people died and 42 were injured as a result of Russian shelling in the Slobozhanskyi and Saltivskyi districts of Kharkiv.
