Amnesty International published a report on the forced removal of civilians by Russians from the temporarily occupied territories

They were forcibly taken to the Russian Federation or the territories controlled by Russia. During the deportation, children were separated from their families. It is a violation of international humanitarian law.

Victims told Amnesty International how they had been forced to go through harsh screening procedures - filtering. It sometimes led to detention, torture and other ill-treatment.
