American Facebook and Twitter users share a screenshot of an allegedly declassified CIA document stating that Stepan Bandera was a "Hitler's spy"

Users of the American segment of Facebook and Twitter are sharing a screenshot and a link to the document, captioning it as a “declassified CIA document”, and writing: “Ukrainian hero Stepan Bandera was 'Hitler's spy'".

In fact, the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) has posted a translation of a Russian-language article from a magazine on its website. The source of this article is the 1951 issue of the monthly periodical Sotsialisticheskiy Vestnik, published by Mensheviks abroad.
