Adverts to join Wagner PMC circulate in Latvia

Online ads calling for joining the Wagner PMC have been spotted in Latvia.

The Latvian State Policy Service reported on the invitations found on the Internet, the Latvian media outlet Delfi reports.

So far, these messages have been recorded only on the Internet.

According to the National Security Act, Latvian citizens and non-citizens are prohibited from serving in the armed forces or foreign countries' military organisations that threaten Latvia's national security.

Earlier, two Russians were detained in Poland for distributing Wagner propaganda materials. The men posted about 300 leaflets in Krakow and Warsaw and were rewarded with 500,000 rubles.
