Additional Russian FSB units arrive in temporarily occupied Donetsk to monitor pseudo-elections

Additional units of Russian special services have arrived in temporarily occupied Donetsk to monitor the so-called "elections."

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this. 

Members of the so-called "election commissions," accompanied by armed Russian police officers, are conducting house-to-house visits. In particular, Russians stop civilians on the streets and force them to sign ballots. 

"There have been numerous cases of people being forced to vote not only for themselves but also for their relatives and neighbours," the statement said.

Also, groups of propagandists arrived from Russia and Belarus to film stories about the allegedly positive process of the so-called "elections." Instead, the local population shows no interest in the pseudo-elections and is trying to avoid them by all means.

It will be recalled that Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets called on international partners not to recognise the so-called "elections" held by the Russian Federation in the temporarily occupied territories.
