A Russian strike on port infrastructure in Odesa killed five people. There are also some wounded
Odesa, Ukraine (Svidomi) — A Russian strike on Odesa, in southern Ukraine, on March 6, killed five people and wounded more, Ukrainian Navy spokesperson Dmytro Pletenchuk told Suspilne.
Information about the wounded is being clarified, as not all of them are in stabilised condition. The investigation into the attack on port infrastructure on March 6 is ongoing.
It will be recalled that at the time of the Russian attack on Odesa in southern Ukraine, President Zelenskyy and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis were in the port.
However, the spokesperson for the Southern Defense Forces, Natalia Humeniuk, told Donbas.Realities - RFE/RL that the attack on Odesa on March 6 was not related to the visit of the President of Ukraine to the city.
"It is connected with terror, which the enemy is quite methodically carrying out," Humeniuk said.
