90% of wind energy capacities in Ukraine have been decommissioned due to the war — Minister of Energy
Herman Halushchenko said this in an interview with the "We are Ukraine" channel.
About 45-50% of solar power plants are also not working. This is caused by the temporary occupation of the southern regions of Ukraine, where most facilities are located. At the same time, the Minister is convinced that Ukraine has great potential for the development of renewable energy, in particular wind energy. According to Halushchenko, Europe is interested in investing in it in Ukraine after the war.
