13 people were injured in Russian shelling over the past day

On the morning of June 12, Russians attacked Ukraine with missiles and drones. The Ukrainian Air Force shot down one X-47M2 Kinzhal aerial ballistic missile, four X-101/X-555 cruise missiles, and 24 drones.

In the Kyiv region, one person was injured due to falling debris. There was also damage to houses, a petrol station, and a warehouse. A fire broke out at an industrial facility. 

In the Kharkiv region, bordering Russia in the east of Ukraine, Vovchansk, Pishchane, Novoplatonivka, Metalivka, and Kutkivka came under attack. Two people were injured. Private houses and outbuildings were damaged. 

In the Donetsk region, which has been partially occupied since 2014 and is located on the frontline in the east of Ukraine, the Russians struck 2,183 times. Hirnyk, Kostiantynivka, Kurakhove, Mykolaivka, Toretsk, Velyka Novosilka, Zhelanne, Shcherbynivka, Vovche, Dachenske, Dovha Balka, Mykhailivka, Novoselivka Persha came under attack. Twenty-three civilian objects were damaged: 17 residential buildings, an educational institution, a boiler house, a garage, and a power line. One person was injured. 

In the Luhansk region, almost completely occupied by Russia, the Russian army attacked Nevske and Bilohorivka with guided aerial bombs. 

In the Sumy region, bordering Russia to the north, the Russians fired 22 times at the border areas. The military recorded 59 explosions. The communities of Khotin, Myropillia, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Novosloboda, and Shalyhyne came under fire. There were no casualties. 

In the Chernihiv region, bordering Belarus and Russia to the north, the Russians fired mortars at the Semenivka community. There were no casualties. 

In the Mykolaiv region in the south of Ukraine, the Russian army attacked the waters of the Ochakiv community with artillery. The Kutsurub community was attacked with kamikaze drones. Two private houses and one car were damaged. There were no casualties.

In the Kherson region in the south of Ukraine, which has been partially occupied since 2022, Stanislav, Sadove, Antonivka, Bilozerka, Tokarivka, Veletenske, Berehove, Zarichne, Inhulets, Novodmytrivka, Beryslav, Tiahyntsi, Novovorontsovka, Osokorivka, Lvove, Olhivka, Mykhailivka, Monastyrske, Burhunka and Kherson came under Russian attack. A multi-storey building and 22 private houses were damaged. Critical infrastructure, a shopping centre, an administrative building and cars were hit. Three people were injured. 

In the Dnipropetrovsk region in southcentral Ukraine, a rocket attack on June 11 in the Dnipro district injured three people, including a 37-year-old pregnant woman. She suffered an acute stress reaction. Three private houses, an outbuilding and a solar panel, were damaged. Nikopol and the Zelenodolsk community also came under attack. Private houses, a five-storey building, a medical centre, outbuildings, a tractor and a power line were damaged. On June 12, a family was injured in a drone attack in the Synelnykove district. A 13-year-old boy has an acute stress reaction. A 39-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman suffered cut wounds. They received medical assistance. Nikopol was attacked again with artillery and kamikaze drones. In the morning, the Russians also struck Novomoskovsk.

In Zaporizhzhia in the south, which has been partially occupied in the south since 2022, Russians attacked 15 settlements in the region 547 times. There are 11 reports of residential destruction. There were no casualties.
