The UK is ready to help Germany with delivering Taurus missiles to Ukraine
London, United Kingdom (Svidomi) — British Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs David Cameron has said that the UK is ready to help Germany resolve the problems related to the supply of Taurus missiles to Ukraine, ZEIT reports.
"We are determined to closely cooperate with our German partners on this and all other issues to assist Ukraine,"
he said in an interview with the Süddeutsche Zeitung.
According to Cameron, a "ring exchange" is possible. Germany would give the UK Taurus cruise missiles, and London, in turn, would supply additional Storm Shadow missiles to Ukraine.
"We are ready to consider all options to achieve maximum impact for Ukraine," Cameron said.
He added that he "will not disclose any details and will not tell our opponents what we are planning".
Earlier, Chancellor Olaf Scholz said that Germany would not be a party to the war, either directly or indirectly, and would not send Taurus missiles to Ukraine.
