~Russia illegally detains 25,000 Kremlin prisoners

According to the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets, this is the number of civilians abducted by the Russian Federation.
The ZMINA Human Rights Centre has found that at least 21 prisoners require urgent medical care and may die unless they receive it.
During the full-scale invasion, the National Police began investigating the enforced disappearance of 8,800 people. Russian Children's Ombudsman Maria Lvova-Belova claims Russia has illegally abducted over 700,000 children from Ukraine.
The Media Initiative for Human Rights has identified about one hundred places where abducted civilians are held.
The Mission of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea (Qırım) confirms 218 illegally imprisoned Ukrainian citizens, 132 of whom are Qırımtatarlar.
During the full-scale war, 4,131 Ukrainian citizens, including 171 civilians, were returned to Ukraine.
Teimur Abdullaiev released from punishment cell after two months in detention
Crimean political prisoner Teimur Abdullaiev has been released from the punishment isolation ward of a penal colony in Bashkortostan, Russia. During his 5 years in the colony, he spent over a thousand days in the punishment isolation ward.

This was reported by Crimean Solidarity with reference to Teimur's mother.
Teimur and his brother Uzeir were arrested in 2016 in the case of Hizb ut-Tahrir. On June 2-19, the North Caucasus District Military Court in Rostov-on-Don accused the Abdulaiev brothers of allegedly working for a terrorist organisation and sentenced them to 17 and 13 years in prison.
Political prisoner Rustem Sheikhaliiev was taken from prison to the hospital due to his legs
Civilian journalist Rustem Sheikhaliiev, who suffers from varicose veins in his legs, was taken from the colony to a tuberculosis hospital.
This was reported by Crimean Solidarity.
Since his arrest, the varicose veins in both legs have progressed. Sheikhaliiev was prescribed ointments and pills, but the treatment did not help. He was hospitalised only after his legs turned blue and became more painful and swollen. The family was not informed about Rustem Sheikhaliiev's treatment.

Rustem Sheikhaliiev was arrested in 2019 in the case of Hizb ut-Tahrir. In 2022, the Southern District Military Court of the Russian Federation sentenced him to 14 years in prison for alleged participation in a terrorist organisation. Sheikhaliiev did not admit guilt.
Four Ukrainian POWs to be trialled in Russia for alleged "terrorist actions" in Kursk region
The Russian Federation has sent to court the case of Ukrainian prisoners of war Artem Myronenko, Oleh Potabenko, Volodymyr Dobizh and Serhii Kozub, who were accused of committing alleged terrorist acts in the Kursk region.

According to Russian investigators, the Ukrainian military in the Kursk region allegedly opened fire on the Russian military, intimidated the local population, and obstructed the evacuation of civilians.
Under international law, it is illegal to charge prisoners of war under the criminal law of the country holding them. Nevertheless, Russia is massively fabricating cases under terrorist articles against the Ukrainian military.
Russia sentences five Ukrainian POWs for alleged terrorism
Ukrainian POWs Dmytro Reivakh and Hlib Petruk, Ivan Bezliepkin, Yurii Makarenko and Volodymyr Puzanov have been sentenced in Russia for alleged "terrorism".

The Southern District Military Court in Rostov-on-Don accused the Ukrainian POWs of alleged participation in a terrorist group, which Russia considers to be the Donbas Battalion. Dmytro Reivakh and Hlib Petruk were sentenced to six years in prison, Ivan Bezliepkin to five years and ten months, and Yurii Makarenko and Volodymyr Puzanov to five years and eight months.
Russia is violating the Geneva Conventions by bringing criminal charges against Ukrainian prisoners of war.
Ukrainian citizen Anastasiia Todurova imprisoned for 14 years for alleged treason in Russia
Anastasiia Todurova, a resident of the Donetsk region, was accused of high treason and sent to a penal colony for 14 years.
This was reported by the Zmina Human Rights Center with reference to the Russian edition of Mediazona.

Anastasiia Todurova is 34 years old. She has four underaged children.
Russian security forces accused her of alleged treason, terrorism, involvement in a terrorist group and storage of explosives. She was added to the list of "extremists" in Russia in 2023.
The Southern District Military Court in Rostov-on-Don sentenced Todurova to 14 years in a general regime colony and fined her half a million Russian rubles (about $5500 — ed.).
