The President of the Czech Republic believes that the results on the battlefield by the end of the year will be the basis for negotiations with Russia
The President of the Czech Republic, Peter Pavel, believes that Ukraine's results on the battlefield by the end of 2023 will form the basis for possible negotiations with Russia.
He told journalists about this, according to a correspondent of the "European Pravda"
According to Petr Pavel, the "window of opportunity" for Ukraine's military advance will close by the end of the year.
"We have to be realistic: the window of opportunity will more or less close by the end of this year. Not only because of the winter conditions, but also because of the upcoming elections in Ukraine, Russia, and the United States," the EP quoted the Czech president as saying.
He also believes that the allies will eventually reduce the level of military support for Ukraine.
"We will also see another decline in the willingness to massively support Ukraine with more weapons. All these conditions are likely to lead to conclusions: whatever is achieved by the end of this year will be the basis for negotiations," Pavel added.
