The Ombudsman of Ukraine called on the Minister of Defense of Ukraine to return the accreditation to journalists who covered the events in Kherson before the completion of stabilization measures

Verkhovna Rada Human Rights Ombudsman, Dmytro Lubinets, noted that media access control is necessary in wartime conditions. However, according to him, communication with international media is insufficient on the part of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

“Their task is to provide operational information from the scene of events so that the citizens of the partner countries can see with their own eyes why weapons and humanitarian programs funded by taxes work,” said Dmytro Lubinets.

Earlier, the Ministry of Defense revoked the accreditation of Sky News and CNN journalists who came to de-occupied Kherson before the completion of stabilization measures.
