The International Olympic Committee will not lift sanctions against Russia and Belarus regarding the participation of these countries in the tournaments

This is stated on the website of the International Olympic Committee.

In the first days of the full-scale invasion, the IOC recommended that all international sports federations suspend Russia and Belarus from participating in tournaments due to the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine.

In December, the members of the IOC Executive Board stated that they would not change the decision to suspend Russian and Belarusian athletes.
