"Putin will stop at nothing to achieve his goal". How the world reacted to Russian missile attacks on Ukraine

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak condemned another Russian attack on Ukrainian regions.

He wrote about this in his X. 

"These widespread attacks on Ukraine's cities show Putin will stop at nothing to achieve his aim of eradicating freedom and democracy. We will not let him win," said Rishi Sunak.

United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk called on Russia to immediately stop the attack and to respect international law.

"I am shocked by another full-scale coordinated missile & drone attack by Russia across Ukraine," Türk said in a statement.

After the Russian attack, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said that the EU "will support Ukraine as long as it takes".

The Russian air attack was also condemned by the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Poland, Estonia, Germany, and France, the Embassy of Japan in Ukraine, US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell, the Presidents of Lithuania and others.

"The world must support Ukraine's victory and authorise a special tribunal now to hold Moscow accountable for the crimes committed in Ukraine," the Estonian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

It will be recalled that on the morning of December 29, Russia launched a missile attack on Ukraine. The capital Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Odesa, Lviv and other cities came under attack. As of 14:00 (Kyiv time), at least 18 people were killed and 132 wounded. Search and rescue operations are ongoing.
