Journalists of the German ZDF channel come under fire in Kharkiv

Journalists of the German TV channel ZDF came under Russian shelling in the centre of Kharkiv on the evening of December 30. They were in the Kharkiv Palace Hotel.

This is stated in the statement of the TV channel.

At the time of the shelling, three members of the ZDF team were in rooms on the fifth floor, one in the lobby, and another on the 11th floor of the hotel. They did not suffer any injuries.

Their interpreter, who was in the lobby, suffered fractures — she broke a rib and vertebrae.

According to the hotel manager, 15 rooms were rented at the time of the shelling.
