The European Union has once again failed to agree on a 500 million hryvnia military aid package for Ukraine. Hungary is blocking the decision.
This was reported by the Europe editor for RFE/RL, Rikard Jozwiak.
Hungary had previously blocked this decision because the Hungarian OTP Bank was included in the Ukrainian list of international "war sponsors".
Subsequently, the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption of Ukraine temporarily suspended this status.
"Now Budapest wants legal assurances that this is permanent," Jozwiak wrote.
