German company "Wintershall Dea" supplies jet fuel components to Russia — Der Spiegel
In a joint investigation with the ZDF TV channel, Der Spiegel notes that Wintershall Dea is involved in a joint venture with a subsidiary of Gazprom, which actually provides the Russian gas monopoly with gas condensate — one of the main materials for the production of jet fuel.
At the same time, the German company comments that it considers the direct link between the production of condensate and the Russian attacks to be "interpreted".
Wintershall Dea also cannot guarantee that the extracted raw materials are not used for military purposes, as they are "processed into many different petrochemical products".
ZDF and Der Spiegel tracked the supply of jet fuel from Gazprom's largest refinery in Russia's Omsk. The German company says they have no information about gas condensate from the joint venture entering the city.
