10 people were killed due to the explosion of the Kakhovka HPP
On June 12, the bodies of two people were found as a result of flooding in the Kherson region. Another 20 people were injured, and 42 went missing.
The head of the RMA, Serhii Prokudin, reports that as of the morning of June 13, the water level in the flooded settlements is 27 centimetres lower than as of June 12.
On the temporarily occupied Left Bank of the Kherson region, 17 settlements are under the water, and the Russians are not evacuating the locals in any of them. The Ukrainian side managed to evacuate 133 people.
On the Right Bank, 3,600 houses are flooded in 31 settlements. Water has receded from 200 houses. 2757 people were evacuated, including 263 children.
The Kakhovka reservoir has already lost 72% of its water. The artificial reservoir is still shrinking. Meanwhile, in the Mykolaiv region, the water level is rising.
As a reminder, on June 6, Russian troops blew up the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station, located in the temporarily occupied Nova Kakhovka, Kherson region.
