Russian troops blow up Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant

Russian troops have blown up the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant, located in temporarily occupied Nova Kakhovka in the Kherson region.

This was reported by the South Operational Command.

The extent of the damage, the speed and volume of water, and the likely areas of flooding are being clarified.

It is known that in five hours the water will reach a critical level.

Evacuation of the local population has begun in the Kherson region. The Regional Military Administration urges people to gather all their documents and essentials and wait for an evacuation bus.

Residents of the left bank, which is occupied, are urged to do everything necessary to protect themselves. In particular, to leave the dangerous area immediately.
