Zelenskyy held a series of meetings with European leaders during the European Political Community Summit

The President of Ukraine met with the Prime Ministers of Spain, Italy, the United Kingdom, and Armenia, the President of France and the Chancellor of Germany, along with the President of the European Council and the President of the European Parliament.

This was reported by Zelenskyy's press service.

President Zelenskyy discussed a new package of defence support with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Pedro Sánchez: additional air defence equipment, artillery and anti-drone systems. The parties also discussed the provision of energy equipment to Ukraine and the operation and protection of the grain corridor. They will soon begin negotiations on Ukraine's accession to the EU under the Spanish presidency.

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and President Zelenskyy focused on key challenges to European security, such as Russia's hybrid threats, and discussed Italy's upcoming G7 presidency.

Zelenskyy also met with French President Emmanuel Macron. They discussed strengthening Ukraine's air defence and the security of the Odesa region and the Black Sea.

As a result of the meeting between Zelenskyy and Scholz, it became known that Germany was working to provide Ukraine with an additional Patriot system for the winter months.

Rishi Sunak and the Ukrainian President discussed ways to export grain and agreed on the need to protect freedom of navigation in the Black Sea.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy also briefed President of the European Council Charles Michel on the progress of the counter-offensive and priority defence needs. Ukraine is counting on further military assistance from the EU and its member states, as well as on steady support from the European Peace Fund.

The Ukrainian delegation led by the President discussed further sanctions against Russia and steps to counter Russian propaganda with Roberta Metsola.

In addition, Zelenskyy spoke with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan for the first time. The topic of the conversation was the security situation in the South Caucasus.

"Ukraine is interested in the stability of the region and friendly relations with its countries. We also discussed our bilateral cooperation and interregional economic projects," the President said.
