The Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine is confident that the Wagnerians are dangerous at close range. In addition, due to the very structure of the Russian society, it does not care about their losses, so they have become disposable infantry for Russia. 

First, convicts are sent into battle, who suffer the greatest losses — up to 80%. They are followed by more experienced soldiers who use thermal imagers. Artillery support allows them to gain a foothold. However, there is often no cooperation between the Wagnerites and the Russian military.
