Ukrainian troops destroy 29 out of 30 missiles fired at Ukraine

On the night of May 18, the Russian military sent missiles against Ukraine from three different bases at once: air, sea and ground.

This was reported by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valerii Zaluzhnyi.

The Russians used:

• 22 X-101/X-555 air-launched cruise missiles;

• 6 Kalibr sea-launched cruise missiles

• 2 Iskander cruise missiles, launched from ground-based tactical missile systems.

In parallel with these, the Russian army also sent two Shahed-136/131 kamikaze drones and tactical reconnaissance UAVs to Ukraine. All four drones were destroyed.

At the same time, there have been two known hits: on an infrastructure facility in the Khmelnytskyi district and an industrial infrastructure in the Odesa region.
