Ukrainian troops achieve tactical success in the Svatove direction
The 92nd Separate Mechanised Brigade managed to advance 400 metres despite constant Russian offensive actions.
The Commander of the Ground Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi, announced this.
He travelled to the northeast of Ukraine and visited the units operating in the region. This is the front line that runs from Kupiansk in the north to the Sievierodonetsk-Lysychansk agglomeration in the south.
On this part of the frontline, Russian Storm Z units, consisting of prisoners trained for assault operations, are fighting. They are constantly attacking.
Nevertheless, the 92nd Ivan Sirko Mechanized Brigade, which operates near Svatove, repelled the Russian attacks, went on the offensive, and advanced 400 metres.
