A trial against a Ukrainian and two Belarusians accused of "spying in favour of Ukraine" has begun in Gomel, Belarus.
Details of the case are unknown.
On October 21, 2022, the Belarusian TV channel Belarus-1 reported the detention of Ukrainian citizen Pavlo Kupriienko and two residents of the Gomel region, Dmitry Solovenchik and Taras Machinsky.
According to the journalists, the case is under consideration by Judge Ruslan Tsaruk, known for his political activities.
"It took the KGB only three months to investigate the case and bring it to court," Radio Liberty writes.
