Ukraine's ambassador to Israel said that Israel did not refuse Zelenskyy a visit. There was no official appeal from the President of Ukraine to the government of Israel.
Yevhen Korniichuk said this on the Israeli radio station Best Radio.
"These are speculative conversations that have nothing to do with our relations. There has been no official appeal from Zelenskyy," Korniichuk said.
Earlier, Israeli media outlets cited sources saying that the Ukrainian president had requested permission to visit Israel as a sign of solidarity, which was allegedly denied.
