"We expect that this year, in 2023, we can already have this pre-entry stage of negotiations," said Denys Shmyhal in an interview with Politico.
The Ukraine-EU summit will take place on February 3. The Ukrainian Prime Minister hopes that the partners will make progress in the issues of the visa-free regime for industrial goods, the suspension of customs duties on Ukrainian exports for another year, joining the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA), and Ukraine's entry into the EU's mobile roaming area.
