Ukraine has already received cluster munitions from the US but has not used them yet — Tarnavskyi
The commander of the Tavriia Joint Forces Operation, General Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, said that Ukraine has already received cluster munitions.
The general said this in a comment to CNN.
"We just got them [the ammunition], we haven't used them yet, but they can radically change [the battlefield]," Tarnavsky commented.
The general noted that the country's top leadership will decide on the areas where the ammunition can be used.
"The enemy (Russia — ed.) also understands that with getting this ammunition, we will have an advantage. The enemy will give up the part of the terrain where it is possible to use this," the commander added.
It will be recalled that the Administration of US President Joe Biden has agreed to transfer cluster munitions to Ukraine. The US President called this decision difficult.
