Ukraine conducted a test import of electricity from Romania

Ukrinform reported this citing the statement of the "Energy Company of Ukraine."

On November 27, Ukraine imported non-commercial amounts of electricity with a capacity of 1 MW in a test mode.

The company reports that this may become an additional opportunity to stabilize Ukraine's energy system.  The testing was required to verify the technical capabilities to purchase electricity from the EU.

It will be recalled, on November 19, Ukraine imported electricity from Slovakia in a test mode.
