Two children illegally taken to Russia were returned to Ukraine

According to the Ministry of Reintegration, the girls aged 13 and 15 were taken into care and taken home by their older sister. The family is currently in Volyn.

Russians deported them from the Luhansk region to Ryazan together with their mother. However, the mother died in Russia, and the children were sent to an orphanage.

"Their older sister, who managed to evacuate to the Volyn region with her family, contacted the Ministry of Reintegration. Everyone together went through the process from the registration of custody of the girls to their return to the homeland," the statement says.
