The UN said that the video footage from Makiivka, the Luhansk region, where a Russian man, allegedly surrendering as a prisoner, shoots at Ukrainian soldiers, is real

This is stated on the website of the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Türk.

In one of the videos, Russian soldiers lie on the ground, allegedly surrendering, but then one of them opens fire in the direction of Ukrainian soldiers.

Türk emphasized the need for independent and detailed forensic investigations that could help establish what happened in Makiivka.
