The Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea has served a notice of suspicion to the Mufti of the peninsula, who cooperates with the occupiers


In September 2022, the Mufti of Religious Administration of Muslims of Crimea Emirali-Hajji Ablaev began publicly supporting the invasion. Now he faces up to 12 years in prison — the Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol. 

Earlier, Svidomi told about the actions of Mufti Ablaev: after the announcement of mobilisation in Russia, the head of the RAMC called on Crimeans not to run away from mobilisation and "pay their soldier's debt". Later, he came to a Russian military unit, allegedly met with illegally mobilised Crimean Tatars and called on Muslims to pray for them.    

He faces up to 12 years in prison for glorifying aggression and collaboration.
