The Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Sergei Shoigu, held talks with his counterparts in France, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Turkey

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported this.

During telephone conversations with Sébastien Lecornu, Ben Wallace, Lloyd Austin, and Hulusi Akar, the Russian minister accused Ukraine of preparing provocations using a "dirty bomb."

The Ministry of Defense of the United Kingdom reported that the call was requested by the Russian Federation, and Shoigu said that the Western countries, including the UK, are allegedly supporting Ukraine's plans "to escalate" the war.

Ben Wallace refuted such claims and said that such allegations should not be used as a pretext for greater escalation. The Defense secretary of the United Kingdom also reiterated the UK and wider international support for Ukraine.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba called such Russian statements about a "dirty bomb" absurd and dangerous.
