The Upper House of the French Parliament recognised the Holodomor of 1932-1933 as genocide of the Ukrainian people
This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba
"I am grateful to the French senators for this historic vote, which restores justice and honours the memory of millions of victims. Such crimes must never be repeated and must never be forgotten," he wrote.
