The European Union has approved the allocation of €18 billion in macro-financial aid to Ukraine

This is stated in the conclusions of the December 15 meeting of the European Council.

The EU will also urgently intensify the provision of civil protection equipment to Ukraine and help in the restoration of critical infrastructure.

In addition, the leaders of the EU states agreed to strengthen military support for Ukraine, in particular, by increasing aid in air defense and demining.
