The European Commission to present a new aid package for Ukraine worth €18 billion next week — the European Commission
Volodymyr Zelenskyy and President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen discussed financial support for Ukraine. Among other things, they talked about long-term preferential loans to cover interest costs.
Von der Leyen confirmed that the EU would continue to provide humanitarian assistance to Ukraine, especially in winter.
The parties have emphasised the importance of ensuring the export of Ukrainian agricultural products. Mainly, they discussed plans to expand the capacity of export roads between Ukraine and the EU.
The leaders also discussed strengthening sanctions and ways to respond to the cooperation between Iran and Russia.
