The Austrian Parliament condemns the Holodomor of 1932-33 as a "terrible crime"

The draft resolution mentions the 90th anniversary of the Holodomor as "a cruel famine provoked by the Soviet Union in 1932-33 against the civilian population on the territory of Ukraine".

The signatories note that they "recognize the terrible crime of the Holodomor". The deputies also stress that in the current war of Russia against Ukraine they are "witnessing the use of hunger as a weapon of war".
