South African President's spokesperson Vincent Magwenya questions the authenticity of the explosions in Kyiv
During the visit of an African delegation to Kyiv, Russia fired missiles at the capital. Magwenya doubts that this really happened.
He said this in a commentary to the South African news24.
According to the popularity ranking of websites by SimilarWeb, news24 ranks first among news outlets in the Republic of South Africa.
"I took the video from the hotel here in Kyiv. It's very strange that we didn't hear or see an explosion. There's obviously some deliberate misinformation being spread here. People are going on about their day. As we expected this mission was never going to be easy but some of the hurdles are deeply disturbing, like the treatment you all received and others outright amusing, like this so-called explosion," he told the portal.
On June 16, seven people were injured in Russian missile attacks on Kyiv. In addition, a forest caught fire in the Kyiv region.
