Avdiivka, Ukraine (Svidomi) — Some units of the Third Separate Assault Brigade in Avdiivka were encircled but managed to withdraw, says the brigade's deputy commander, Maksym Zhorin.

"Similarly, not a single soldier of ours remained on the territory of Avdiivka Coke Plant," the deputy commander added.

He says the plant is destroyed. Almost half of all the guided aerial bombs used by the Russians in their attack on the city hit its territory.

Earlier, the commander of the Tavira group of troops, Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, said that there were no Ukrainian units blocked in Avdiivka. DeepState recorded that in the last days before the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops, the positions at Zenit were encircled, and "the main forces withdrew from their positions, but not everyone managed to leave".

It will be recalled that the Russians allegedly shot six captured Ukrainian soldiers at the Zenit position in Avdiivka. The bodies of three of them were identified by their relatives. The Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine has launched an investigation into the case.
