Russians hit Vovchansk with artillery, killing two of its residents

On June 4, Russian artillery units hit and damaged a residential building in Vovchansk. Two people were killed.

The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office reported this.

Vovchansk is a town located in the Kharkiv region, on the border with Russia. Before the full-scale invasion, it was home to about 3,500 people.

On February 24, 2022, Russian troops seized Vovchansk. Six months later, on September 13, the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to de-occupy it. Since then, Russians have been shelling Vovchansk every day.

This time they hit a residential building, killing two local women aged 62 and 74.
