Russians demolished the modernist sanatorium Zori Ukrainy in the temporarily occupied Crimea

The project of the sanatorium in Opolzne was developed by Russian architects Valery Zhilkin and Evsey Perchenkov. The sanatorium was opened in 1986.

After the beginning of the temporary occupation of Crimea by Russia, about 200 sanatoriums came under its illegal control. The so-called "authorities" started selling sanatoriums as private property and appropriating them to the "power structures".
